I am a PhD student based out of the Department for the Study of Religion and the School of the Environment at the University of Toronto whose work broadly explores human-environment interactions, religious embodiment, natural hazards, and poverty in Latin America.

My PhD dissertation looks to explore the embodied religious responses of rural Andean communities in the Colca Canyon (Arequipa, Peru) to environmental change. My previous work focused on community resilience and the emotional geographies of floods and droughts in the Peruvian Amazon. My passion for issues related to poverty and community development in Latin America (and similar regions) inform much of my work.
