I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Toronto in the Department for the Study of Religion and the School of the Environment. My work explores human-environment interactions, religious embodiment, natural hazards, and poverty in Latin America.

My research revolves around the lived religion of Andean Christians in southern Peru in response to ecological and social change. My previous work focused on community resilience and the emotional geographies of floods and droughts in the Peruvian Amazon. All of my work is informed by my passion for poverty alleviation and community mobilization.
